Favorite activity: Rock Climbing over the ocean!
Favorite port: Bar Harbor. Arcadia National Park is well preserved, and the roads provide awesome bike rides and jogs. The hiking trails and climbs hold so much promise. We want to go back for the Bar Harbor Marathon in October next year!
Most educational: This is debatable, but what actually stuck with me was the beer tasting education at Sam Adams. Ironic, since I really don't like beer at all!
Most Tasty: Are you kidding me?! The Soup Man!!!!
Most surprisingly pleasant port: Martha's Vineyard. I had ZERO expectations. It's really cute and the landscape is gorgeous. Plus, I found my next car --the Mini Cooper Convertible!
Most disappointing port: Boston. I had it built up too much. It was my fault. Plus, while our Freedom Trail guide, Marcia, was a spectacular guide, I couldn't hear her too well all the time, and my brain was "full." I got a lot of info that I just couldn't retain.
Personal "souvenirs":
4 small and 1 large canister of Tim Horton's coffee grounds
1 box of Drake's RingDings
1 box of Drake's Coffee Cake
2 Samuel Adams Beer glasses
1 book on the MacPherson clan
---c'mon... you didn't expect us to take home a small scale replica of a building or a statue, did you????
