Transportation to England

I wanted to make a special post for the plane trip. I don't know why, exactly. The plane/car/train ride is always part of the trip, and the dynamic of emotions is interesting. You're excited and releived to start out, and then you make it past checkins and hunker down for a couple hours at your gate, waiting for your plane. You're mad that the TSA clerk made you throw out your bottle of water, and then you're even madder that you paid stadium pricing for your little snacks. But then you're happy to have something in your tummy, and even slightly entertained with the tiny activity of eating and keeping your area clean. You worry about sudden terminal changes or about your luggage being lost, but that is the only thing that keeps you awake since you're so tired from being up early. But then you arrive to your vacation area, and you are reenergized and have renewed excitement. So, excited, relieved, mad, madder, happy, entertained, worried and tired, reenergized and renewed... the transit time can be sort of a mini-venture of it's own!
I took some pictures of the progress of our travel. I am grateful for Corey's forethought in this part of the vacation. He bought us little neck pillows, eye covers, and ear plugs for the Washington DC to London flight!
