La Havre, France --but mostly Rouen

  • Corey got up early and worked out. Came back and woke me up. Leisurely
morning on boat, waiting for excursion at 13:20

  • Took 45 min coach ride to Rouen. Guided tour centered mostly upon a
cathedral. I think it's called Notre Dame... apparently there are multiple
cathedrals named Notre Dame??? I couldn't hear everything our guide said.
Anyhow, Corey and I were totally digging the gothic architecture! Absolutely
    beautiful

  • Visited the site where Joan Of Arc was burned at the stake.

  • Visited the Rouen School of Fine Arts. It used to be a cemetary for people
who died of Black Plague. Bodies were relocated to open air at edge of city,
before school was created. Took a picture of a mummified black cat. It was put
in the corner to scare bad spirits away. Poor cat!

  • Walked around Rouen shopping area for 1/2 hour. Cute stuff! Narrow
    cobblestone streets.

  • Back on boat for dinner and relaxation
