The Epic Battle of Jen vs. Fitness

For the last few months, I started working out --woohoo for meeeeee!! I'm training once again for a sprint triathlon. Let's hope I follow through this year.
I do endurance training in the morning, and then my weight training/toning at night.
I workout at the Body Exchange downtown, and I love it. I don't work out for more than an hour a day, so I don't feel like working out is such an imposition on my schedule. I have made friends with some of the desk girls and a salesman there. I got lots of help, support, and encouragement from them. They have become a part of my everyday life, like my beloved coworkers. Additionally, I have a weight trainer, Sandy. Sandy works for Team Strongin, the a group of physical fitness trainers who contract with Body Exchange. Although I've only trained one session so far, I really like Sandy's style. Very professional, helpful, and she does what I ask. She doesn't TELL me to do things her way. I like that. I feel like I'm finally getting help from a trainer who is willing to work with me. And of course, behind everything, is Corey. He made my tri training schedule, helps me figure out exercise routes, makes sure I'm hydrated and full of carbs, and tells me how proud he is. --and if I ask him if my legs look like a badass cyclist's, he smiles and says, "yes!" --whether it is true or not. haha! The man knows what I want to hear :o)
